Hatched

So the missus told me excitedly to pack my camera today before we headed out for our morning stroll.

"New place to makan", she confided.

So we ended up at Hatched, located @ 26, Evans Rd. #01-26 Evans Lodge.

What does it look like?

With a name like Hatched, it would not take a big leap of imagination to realise that they sell eggs. Lots of eggs. Done all sort of ways.

Poached, Baked, Boiled, Fried and more!

What to eat
Well, they serve a comprehensive all day breakfast menu that delights the senses so you can't go wrong if you want to bring your first date or family members there (unless they suffer any allergic reactions from ingesting any egg dishes).

What we had
Burly Benedict
It's egg's benedict but instead of a slice of ham, we are talking about a slice of wagyu beef topped with a gorgeously poached egg.

Popeye's Salute
Half a slice of English Muffin topped with wilted spinach and a beautifully done poached egg with a side of mash.

Snazzy Mollet
Baked under a blanket of egg & cheese, you tear away the top to find under, ham, bacon & mushroom. Talk about buried treasure!

Sleepover
This was kind of like our dessert but this was basically french toast accompanied with a shot glass filled with maple syrup. Delectable!

Price i paid
For all that we ordered, it was under S$50 sans GST + Service Charge (they do not charge either)

Was it good?
Undoubtedly! A delightful joint for one and all to enjoy a leisurely Sunday breakfast, Hatched's service wasn't too shabby and staff came by to made sure all was well.
